AACE supported a leading Defence Supplier in managing safety and environmental compliance for multiple C-Vehicle and Defence Mechanical Handling Equipment (DMHE).

We created Safety and Environmental Management Plans (SEMP) aligned with Def Stan 00-056, 00-051 and POSMS/POEMS and Legislative Compliance Assessments to support the safety argument.

Using hazard logs and Environmental Features Matrices, we streamlined and standardised the safety case and hazard log management for over 70 equipment types, setting a foundation for effective and simplified long-term contract support.

Asset Replacement Programme

For high usage, ageing and obsolete equipment, AACE updated Safety & Environmental Cases and Hazard Logs for replacement equipment complying with updated legislation with management of associated information updates like Technical Publications and Training.

Service Life Extension Programs

For ageing low use equipment, AACE updated safety case and hazards logs for assets that have had modifications and major overhaul maintenance carried out to extend their service life.

Artillery Systems – Engineering and Safety Management

Embedded in an MOD Delivery Team, AACE led the development of the Engineering Management Plan (EMP) and oversaw safety and environmental certifications for Complex land weapon system.

This included coordination with NATO, hazard logging in eCassandra, and managing configuration control, demonstrating AACE’s capability to support multinational projects within complex regulatory frameworks.
